Nick Rizzo had himself a night to remember Monday night going 4-4 with 6 RBI’s to lead Cricket to the championship. The biggest hit being his first homerun of the year! Rizzo took a 3-1 pitch and drilled it over the right field fence for a two run homer off Lopez.

The top of the first started with a Christian Figeroa single followed by a Ryan Lemanowicz triple to bring in Christian. After Rizzos homer Lopez would settle in and retire the next three batters. Century 21 would respond in the bottom of the fourth with 4 runs themselves highlighted by a lead off triple by Ryan Brown (he had a phenomenal series) and a few stolen bases at home.

Cricket broke the game open in the fourth when Figeroa started off the inning again with a base hit, followed by another hit by Lemanowicz, a double by Rizzo to score them two, and finally a double by Dolaghan to score Rizzo. After the fourth it was Cricket 10 Century 21 5.

Century 21 would score a few more runs to cut the lead with a big double by Sam Signa and a huge triple that hit the fence by Tyler Lopez but in the end the deficit was to much to overcome.

Century 21 was a well coached, fun to watch team who for sure will be back next year!

For Cricket they move on to face the winner of Legion/Stelattos
