14U softball Jarvis Plumbing gets the W over Carlstadt

After a 45 minute start delay and poor field conditions, Jarvis started off their at bat with a single from Mia Montalto to bring one run in to start the game.

     In the field, 1st basemen Mylah Campbell fields an out and Mia Montalto has 2 strikeouts on the mound.

    Back at bat, Jarvis had singles from Mylah Campbell, Ariana Soto, Gianna Lembo, Mia Montalto and Brooke Harper, totaling 6 runs scored.

        With some errors from the Jarvis field, Mia Montalto struggled for a bit on the mound, while catcher Gianna Lembo kept the ball in front of her and runners on base, afraid to steal. The inning closed out with a collective 3 strikeouts from Montalto.

        With a quick one run inning, Mylah Campbell singles.

      Jarvis goes into the field for 3 strikeouts from Mia Montalto.

      For another 2 runs, Aitana Lozano singles and Gianna Lembo gets a double.

      With a foul ball caught by Adriana Canaris, a play made by 1st basemen Mylah Campbell and a strikeout from Mia Montalto, it was a quick inning in the field.

      Jarvis bats produced a single from Aitana Lozano and doubles from Adriana Canaris and Mia Montalto for a final four runs.

           To finish the game, Mia Montalto has 3 strikeouts for the inning to win the game 14-10, bringing Jarvis to a 5-0 record for the season with plenty of games left to go.
