Bergen County Glass softball tops Carlstadt 17-2 tonight in Carlstadt.

Bats were in full swing with doubles hit by Isabella Toro, Gianna Montalvo, and Valentina Fonseca. Tremendous defensive efforts by Sofia Campos, Josleiny Castillo, Kiara Solorzano and Natalia Barreiro.

While drawing a walk and a single, catcher Brianna Vallejo contributed good defense behind the plate. At the mound, Allie Ruiz pitched 2 perfect innings before allowing a hit in the 3rd. She pitched all 4 innings, striking out 5 and picking up the win.
