Century 21 gets past American Legion to finish the season 14-1.

It was a late start to the game after the 12 year old graduates ran their ceremonial last lap around the bases American Legion took on Century 21.

Tyler Lopez made his last regular season start for Century 21. He pitched the top of the first striking out the side. Colton Siri made the start for American Legion. He was able to get out of the first inning without giving up a run.

Sam Signa came on in relief for Lopez. Noah Zavala doubled and came around on Jayden Dicapua's single. Signa was able to get out of the inning without giving up any other runs. Siri was able to keep Century off the board in the bottom of the 2nd, but did allow a hit to Sean Reed.

Nicholas "Hollywood" Brennen took the mound for his pitching debut in the top of the third. He gave up a single to Noah Zavala and a double to Justin Belloti, but no runs scored. In the bottom of the third, Century was able to tie the score when Sam Signa came around to score on a single by Lopez. After 3 innings the score was tied at 1.

Mason "Ice Man" Young came on to pitch in his pitching debut in the top of the fourth. After walking the first batter and hitting the second batter, Young was able to get a freak double play before getting out of the inning unscathed leaving the bases loaded. In the bottom of the fourth, Reed had another single and was driven in by a Hollywood's double. Hollywood came around to score on a passed ball.

Sean Reed came in to pitch the 5th. He struck out the first 2 batters. He got in a little trouble after an error and walk, but was able to get out of it when the runner got thrown out at third on a passed ball. That ended the game due to Little League rule of not being able to start an inning after 10 PM.

For American Legion.

Noah Zavala went 1-1 with a double and run scored. Colton Siri went 1-3. Justin Belloti went 1-3 with a double. Jayden Decapua went 1-1 with an RBI single.

Colton Siri had 6 strikeouts. Marco Ianatelli had 1 strikeout.

For Century 21:

Sam Signa scored a run. Tyler Lopez went 1-2 with an RBI. Sean Reed went 2-2 with a run scored. Nicholas "Hollywood" Brennen went 1-2 with a double, RBI and run scored.

Tyler Lopez struck out 3. Sam Signa struck out 3. Nicholas "Hollywood" Brennen struck out 2. Mason "Ice Man" struck out 1 picking up the win. Sean Reed struck out 2.
