Stellatos starter Shines in game one of the playoffs

Stellatos starter Shines in game one of the playoffs.

Noah gonzalez continued his MVP type year with a Stellar pitching performance for Stellatos in Game 1 of their opening round playoffs vs Cricket.

The Lone hit would come in the first inning as Jake Dologhan would single for cricket, but Noah and the Stellatos defense would get out of trouble not surrendering any runs in the frame.

Aside from the 1st inning single, walks by Cardona, mark eckert, and victor chico would be the only sore of offense for cricket. Noah gonzalez would finish with and 1 hit complete game shutout, in a rain shortened 4.1 inning game. 7 strikeouts and great defense from him and his infield would shut down cricket.

Offensively Stellatos took a while to get going as Jake Dologhan had their number thru the 1st 3innings only giving up 3 runs. But the high powered Stellatos offense would not stay down as they broke out for 5 runs in the bottom of the 4th.

Noah gonzalez led the way offensively as well with 2 doubles and a single, driving in 1. Nico baca 1-3 with an rbi, Dom, The Bomb, infantes 2-3 2rbi, john gibbons 1-3 with a long Double that would reach the fence, and Anthony Smith broke out of his mini slump going 2-2 with an Rbi.

Stellatos takes game 1 from cricket by the final of 8-0 and will look to close out the series friday night.
