STELLATOS STUNNING WALK OFF.

STELLATOS STUNNING WALK OFF.

If you were not at the Lyndhurst LL field for game 2 of the championship series between Century 21 and Stellatos, you missed the game of the year!

Century struck early to take a 2-0 lead off Stellatos starter Noah Gonzalez. Tyler lopez and mason young would single and double respectively to provide the offense in the 1st for century. Stellatos would battle back as would be the theme all night long with 2 of their own in the bottom of the 1st as Nico Baca and Noah Gonzalez would be their offense.

The 2nd inning would see Stellatos hurler Gonzalez take some lumps as Century would push 4 runs across 1 big one on a questionable umpiring call. Anthony smith from deep in CF would throw a seed to get the runner at home or so Stellatos thought. The call would be overturned by the field umpire, Tyler Lopez and Mason young would again be in the middle of the hitting and scoring for Century as they were all night each with a single and RBI.

Stellatos would scratch and claw their way back with 2 runs in the 3rd inning behind singles from Noah Gonzalez Jude Infantes Anthony Smith and Kris estrada. They would add a run in the 4th as Nico Baca Noah Gonzalez and Dom Infantes would account for some offense.

Heading into the 5th inning Century was clinging to a 6-5 lead and timely hitting from Derek Chaves a walk by Sam Signa and single by Dom Van Orden saw them push across 2 more crucial runs. Stellatos would stick to their theme of the night which was we are not done yet, and put 2 runs back on the board in the bottom of the 5th inning behind the bats of Nico Baca Alex Turelli and John Gibbons.

With the score 8-7 heading into the 6th and final inning Century would widen the margin scoring 2 more runs off then pitcher Alex Turelli for Stellatos. Mason young who was in the middle of everything for century would collect his 3 hit of the night a key hit for Dylan zwier and Century would take 4 run lead.

With 3 outs and their season on the lineStellatos knew in their hearts We aint Done yet!

A single by Dom infantes, who would have Gabe oliveri pinch run for him, a double by jude infantes a single by Anthony smith, kris estrada would single. All of a sudden Stellatos was back in the game. With bases loaded 1 out coach turelli does the unthinkable and Bunts his #9 hitter George miller and Miller came thru. 2 runs would score on the error at home. Stellatos down 1 with 2nd and 3rd, Nico Baca steps to the plate and if you dont believe in miracles you missed the most improbable comeback, Baca would single 2 runs would score and Stellatos would walk off in DRAMATIC FASHION TO.TIE THE SERIES 1 GAME A PEACE! #WEARENOTDONEYET
