Lyndhurst Little League would like to recognize two young men that this past Saturday on Opening Day showed us what our Little League should be all about. Hunter Aiello and Anthony Smith, These 2 young athletes saw an opponent struggling with his confidence while at bat, and without being told by a parent or coach, they took it upon themselves to ease the opposing players' fears. They both consoled him, put their arms around him, and through their words of encouragement, they made sure he got back in the batters box to finish his at bat. We hope Hunter and Anthony inspired some of their fellow little league players thru their positive actions from Saturday, and i hope we can all recognize that although we may be on opposing teams we are all one community. We are Lyndhurst!
