Dolaghan pitches a complete game to help Cricket win their opening night game.

Jake Dolaghan pitched six strong innings striking out 14, walking none and allowing only one hit on 79 pitches. The one hit came off the bat of Jake Blanchfield who slapped one to left field where Cricket's Reynash almost came up with a beautiful sliding catch.

Cricket would get on the board in the top of the first after a base hit by Dolaghan and a few stolen bases Thomas Cafaro would bring him home by hitting a grounder to the second baseman.

In the top of the third Leo Scaglione reached on an error and then would come around to score on a passed ball to give Cricket the 2-0 lead.

Cricket would add two more runs in the top of the 5th. Anthony Cafaro would work a big walk to lead off and then Scaglione smoked a base hit to left advancing Cafaro to third. Dolaghan would come up and bring in Cafaro hitting a ground ball to second. Scaglione would again score on a passed ball giving Cricket the 4-0 lead after 5.

All in all it was a great game to watch. Gabriel Altreche pitched very well for Legion and plays were being made by both teams. Both second basemen looked fabulous making many plays between them, Jack Cardino for Cricket and Anthony Fuller for Legion. Cricket would go on to win the game 5-1.
