Century defeats Savinos to go 3-0

Lenny Checo was able to keep Century from scoring in the top of the first by striking out 2 batters. Savinos put up a 3 spot in the bottom of the first highlighted by back to back doubles by Jack DePalma and Checo.

Century answered back with 10 runs in the top of the second, highlighted by a Jordan Leon's first little league hit, Dominic Studzinski's single, Sam Signa's triple and Sean Reed's single.

Century added 2 more runs in the top of the third highlighted by an RBI sacrifice fly by Miguel Cedeno. Savinos got one back in the bottom of the third when Checo singled and was able to steal his way around the bases to score.

Century added 6 more in the top of the 4th highlighted by a bases loaded double by Dylan Zwier.

For Century:
Dylan Chaves had 2 RBIs and scored a run. Sam Signa went 2-2 with a triple, 3 RBIs and 3 runs scored. Dante Rizzolo scored 3 runs. Miguel Cedeno went 1-3 with 1 RBI and 2 runs scored. Dom Van Orden went 1-2 with 3 runs scored. Dylan Zwier went 1-2 with a double, 3 RBIs and 2 runs scored. Sean Reed went 3-3 with 2 RBIs and 1 run scored. Jordan Leon went 3-4 (his first Little League Majors Division hit) with 2 RBIs and 1 run scored. Dom Studzinski went 1-3 with 1 RBI and 2 runs scored. Dylan Chaves was able to strike out the side in the bottom of the 4th for Century.

Dante Rizzolo struck out 4 in his 2 innings on the mound. Dylan Chaves, making his Little League Majors Division debut also struck out 4.

For Savinos:
Danny Canaris scored a run. Jack DePalma went 1-2 with a double, 1 RBI and 1 run scored. Lenny Checo went 2-2 with a double, 1 RBI and 2 runs scored.

Lenny Checo struck out 2 batters. Jack Fantacone struck out 3 batters, Ayden Lebron struck out 1 batter and Danny Canaris struck out 2 batters.
